Elmwood Pediatrics will begin offering fluoride varnish application to all infants and toddlers ages 12 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2.5 years and 3 years old at the time of their well child check. Most insurance companies pay for this service. It is recommended that all children see a dentist by one year of age, and that all children receive fluoride varnish application every 6 months in their medical home and every 6 months in their dental home.
