We understand many families are wondering about COVID-19 vaccines for the upcoming season. Here’s the current status:
🔹 The 2025–2026 Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is not yet in stock at our office.
🔹 The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is meeting September 18–19, and the CDC will release updated recommendations shortly after.
🔹 NYS has approved the vaccines for all people 12 years and older regardless of health status. The AAP recommends that all children 6 months to 23 months of age get the vaccine if able and children 2 years and above with health conditions or the desire to get the vaccines should get the COVID vaccine if available.
We’ll continue to monitor all updates and will notify families as soon as the vaccine becomes available for broader age groups, including children.
