****FUTURE ADD/ADHD MEDICATION REFILLS****
***NYS LEGISLATIVE CHANGES***
Please note that effective 8/12/13 all ADD/ADHD medications which are considered controlled substances will have to be checked in a NYS Bureau of Narcotics database before being refilled. This legislation was enacted to decrease the chances of the medications being used illegally or for the wrong purpose. Due to this legislative process change, medication refills will take longer to process. Therefore please give our office a week’s notice of refill requests and expect a 3 – 4 day turnaround. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
