Dr. Porter, a native of Buffalo, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from the University Of Maryland School of Medicine. Her pediatric residency was completed at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. She moved to Rochester from Connecticut, where she was in private practice for fourteen years.
