COVID-19 Vaccine News:

We strongly urge all patients 6 Months and above to obtain the COVID vaccine.

Vaccines are still being given out by pharmacies. You can schedule appointments online at most of these sites. Please see the “COVID-19 Pre-vaccination Screening form” below which must be completed prior to getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

It is likely the updated COVID vaccine will be an annual vaccine like the flu shot, and we will have the vaccine seasonally. As of Spring 2024, we do not have vaccine.

NEED A RAPID COVID-19 TEST? 

Rapid COVID PCR Lab Tests at Elmwood Pediatrics:

Elmwood Pediatric Group’s two locations, Clinton Crossings and Bushnell’s Basin, now offer a Rapid COVID PCR test as well as a Rapid Strep PCR test for patients who are ill or have been directly exposed to COVID.

An in-office appointment with a provider is required before this testing. Please call us to schedule a same day appointment. We can get same day results on most samples, although if a test is run late in the day, it may be resulted the next day.

Each insurance carrier has different policies on covering the COVID vaccine test and how much copay is made by the patient. Please contact your insurer to see how expensive your co-payment might be.

COVID Isolation Guidelines

We recommend following the CDC guidelines for all respiratory viruses. You should isolate until you are fever free for 24 hours. Please utilize the resources below for more information and for masking recommendations.
