If You're Expecting

Prenatal Visits

Congratulations! Having a baby is one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Elmwood Pediatric Group shares in your joy and enthusiasm. We look forward to many years of providing care and support to you and your new family.

Our pediatricians encourage new and expectant parents to schedule a prenatal visit at either of our office locations with one of our Nurse Practitioners and Doctors. This visit helps you become acquainted with us, find out where we are located, and allows for an exchange of questions regarding the birth of your baby and our practice. Contact us today to schedule your prenatal visit. Our providers are affiliated with Strong and Highland hospitals.

Well Child Visits

Some parents only bring their child to a pediatrician when they're sick or something is wrong. We recommend frequent well child visits (physicals) from birth through college. This allows us to be take preventative measures with illnesses, and screen for issues that you may not normally look for, such as:

  • Developmental delays

  • Depression

  • Appropriate height and weight gain

  • Hearing and vision problems

Additionally, we make sure we have your child on an immunization schedule recommended by the CDC.
