Dr. Francis’s Retirement

RETIREMENT OF DR. ANNE FRANCIS

Dr. Anne Francis will retire from the Elmwood Pediatric Group on September 1, 2017.

Dr. Francis and her husband plan to travel and to visit their granddaughters who are scattered across the country. She will continue with her involvement with University of Rochester Medical Center Board as well as serving as medical director for the Mary Cariola Children’s Center.

Dr. Francis joined Elmwood Pediatrics in 1976 and was privileged to have worked with the founding partners of the Elmwood Pediatric Group, Dr. Burtis B. Breese and Dr. Frank Disney as well as Dr. John Green and Dr. William Talpey. Following the tradition of these pediatricians, Dr. Francis has been active in state and national pediatric activities. She has enjoyed caring for many generations of Elmwood children and their families since 1976.

Until August 31, 2017, Dr. Francis will continue to care for her patients and will work with her patients to transition their care to one of her colleagues at Elmwood.
Elmwood Pediatric Group looks forward to continuing to provide our patients with the highest quality of care.
